2-3 bay leaves
2-3 cinnamon sticks
1 onion, chopped
3-4 cardamom pods
4-5 cloves
1 packet Shan biryani mix
1-2 pounds beef, washed thoroughly and drained
Prepare the Pan:
In a large pan, add the bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, chopped onions, cardamom pods, cloves, and the Shan biryani mix.
Mix the ingredients together until well combined.
Prepare the Beef:
Wash the beef thoroughly under running water until the water runs clear.
Allow the beef to drain in a strainer.
Combine Beef with Spices:
Add the drained beef to the large pan.
Stir the contents together to ensure the beef is well coated with the spices and other ingredients.
Cook the Beef:
Place the large pan on the stove over high heat.
Bring the mixture to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and let it cook until the beef is tender and the flavors have melded together.
Serve:
Once the beef is cooked through, remove from heat.
Serve hot as part of your biryani dish.
