1 cup poha (flattened rice)
5 ½ cups water
2 bananas, diced and slightly mashed
Juice of 1 lemon
3/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon honey
2 handfuls of ice
Prepare the Poha:
Wash the poha until the water runs clear.
Soak the poha in 5 ½ cups of water for at least 2 hours, or until the flakes puff up.
Prepare the Bananas:
Dice 2 bananas and slightly mash them with your hand.
Mix Ingredients:
Add the mashed bananas to the soaked poha.
Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon into the mixture.
Add 3/4 teaspoon of salt, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of honey.
Mix everything together thoroughly.
Add Ice and Rest:
Add 2 handfuls of ice to the mixture.
Let the mixture rest for an hour before stirring again.
Serve:
Stir the mixture well before serving.
