2 cups of water
A pinch of cloves
3-4 cardamom pods
1 inch of ginger, sliced
A pinch of Kaala Jeera (Bitter Cumin)
1/4 lemon
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon sugar (or more if preferred)
Optional: add 2 teabags (Lipton Iced Tea)Â
Heat the Water:
In a saucepan, heat 2 cups of water over medium heat.
Optional: add 2 teabags (Lipton Iced Tea).
Add a pinch of cloves, 3-4 cardamom pods, sliced ginger, and a pinch of kaala jeera to the water.
Add Lemon Juice:
Once the water is warm, squeeze the juice of 1/4 lemon into the water.
You can also add the lemon peel to the water if desired.
Sweeten the Drink:
Add 1 teaspoon of sugar to the warm water.
Add 1 teaspoon of honey to the mixture.
Optional Straining:
For a smoother drink, you can remove the cloves, cardamom pods, lemon peel, ginger slices, and kaala jeera before serving.
Serve:
Stir the mixture well and enjoy it while warm.
