1-2 radishes, peeled and cut into pieces
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 yellow onion, chopped
Salt (to taste)
Fried Rohu fish or shrimp (quantity as desired)
Vegetable oil (as needed for frying fish or shrimp, if not already fried)
Prepare the Radish:
Peel and cut the radish into pieces.
Boil the radish in a pot of water for about 5-10 minutes to help get rid of the strong smell.
Drain the water and set the radish aside.
Prepare the Fish or Shrimp:
If the Rohu fish or shrimp is not already fried, heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Fry the Rohu fish or shrimp until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Cook the Radish with Spices:
In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed and heat over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and cook until it becomes soft and translucent.
Add the boiled radish pieces to the pan.
Add 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, and salt to taste.
Stir well to combine the spices with the radish and onions.
Combine with Fish or Shrimp:
Add the fried Rohu fish or shrimp to the pan with the radish and spices.
Stir gently to combine, being careful not to break the fish pieces.
Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Serve:
Serve hot as a main dish, accompanied by rice.
