3 Russet Potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
1 tablespoon of mustard oil
2 teaspoons of salt
1 yellow onion, diced
2 teaspoons of coriander powder
3 Indian green chili peppers, finely chopped
Prepare the Potatoes: Put a pot of water on high heat.
Using a fork, carefully poke holes into the potatoes.
Add the potatoes to the boiling pot of water for about 20-30 minutes (or until the potatoes soften).
Once soft, carefully drain the water from the pot.
Peel the skin off of the potatoes. Discard the skins.
Place the potatoes in a large bowl and mash the potatoes.
Prepare the Mix: Add 2 teaspoons of salt to the bowl.
Add 1 sliced, yellow onion into the bowl and 3 chopped, Indian green chili peppers to the bowl.
Mix the ingredients together by hand.
Add chopped coriander and 1 tablespoon of mustard oil to the bowl (Ammu uses Dabur mustard oil).
Mix the ingredients together by hand.
Then, serve and enjoy!
